MUMBLE MONTHLY MAILER:

CARTS OF DARKNESS - FREE VIEWING RIGHT HERE!

POSTED January 21, 2009 BY Bob K

Two totally super awesome things:

1. The National Film Board of Canada has digitized 700 of it’s classic films and are offering them for free viewing off of their site.

2. A while back on the old Mumble I introduced you to a documentary by Vancouver filmmaker, Murray Siple, called Carts of Darkness that was released by the aforementioned NFB. Murray used to make skateboarding and snowboarding videos until he got in a tragic accident that left him in a wheelchair. Ten years later, this film is his return to filmmaking and is a documentary that involves him finding, and relating to, these insane bottle collector dudes. Watch the first minute of the embedded film below to get the back story, and if it interests you then keep watching for the remaining hour, click the little square and make it fullscreen even. I am incredibly stoked to be able to embed this entire film for you to watch!
