View From a Desk

Been working on a lot of interview stuff lately and the large wooden frame in front of me has morphed from desk to coffin and back more times than I can count. The monitor, a rectangle of suck, a creative vacuum that is never satisfied. To break the pace and procrastinate a little I took some photos of my desk. I’ve always enjoyed seeing the work spaces of others, hope you aren’t bored by mine.

Coffee and unprocessed film.

Ashtray and pins. RIP Turtles.

Sometimes a glass of BULLSHIT is just what you need. Also the shrunken severed head of a native american doesn’t hurt.

Arty type stuff on the wall. Thanks to all of you who have traded with me and made my small work world a better place to look at.

Been sending out more postcards and letters to folks lately. I love getting things through the mail.
Added a new intro page to my web site and some new news.

You nailed it right here, Isaac:
“…the large wooden frame in front of me has morphed from desk to coffin and back more times than I can count. The monitor, a rectangle of suck, a creative vacuum that is never satisfied.”
One of the challenges of writers and graphic artists… the office. Sometimes you need to just get out for a walk. Or run, ride, skate. Just get out.
