What Time Is It?
For me and my new Furni/Mumble watch…

For the past five years, Patrick O’Dell has been religiously posting photo sets on his web site, Epiclylaterd.com. I think that his show on VBS.tv that you are likely familiar with (which shares the same name) was originally supposed to be more random like these photo galleries.
A little while back I asked Patrick if he wanted to join Club Mumble and post stuff on here occasionally but he said he was too busy SO I’ve decided to take things into my own hands and share some of his Laterdness with you myself. Every day for the next 30 days I will be poaching one image that he’s posted on his site in the last year and showing it to you here, while encouraging you to visit his web site.

Sorry, Patrick (and thank you).

Chad Tim Tim is an amazing person, on and off the board, so when I got to catch up with him to talk all things Element, it was a great experience. That is until fellow Mumbler, Ricki “The Dude” Bedenbaugh rolled up… These two together, are hilarious and heart-warming.
Nevertheless, here’s an out-take of Chad, and his other wife. And below that, there are a few behind-the-scenes images captured by another fellow Mumbler, Amber B, who’s been documenting the documentary.

A new 24 page zine I just made with my good friend Jonny Costello for The Homework Show tomorrow in San Diego (its from 7-11 if you feel like a zine swap). We only made 20 for the show, but will probably be making a limited run of 100 which is going to take a long time and a lot of scalpel blades. I’m not going to be at the show, but we’ll be remotely swapping through fellow mumbler Stef Walker, who’s organising the show.
The first time we’ve done anything like this and a lot of fun, there will be more.

people are always asking me this question? then like clockwork they ask why? & the answer is?

There is a very fanciful art show happening tonight in Portland Oregon at the ever-thrilling Grass Hut to benefit the Independent Publishing Resource Center. It is featuring a lot of your favorite picture makers and stitch wranglers: Chris Johanson, Thomas Campbell, Chris Duncan, Megan Whitmarsh, Thom Lessner, Mel Kadel, Travis Millard, Sammy Harkham, Leif Goldberg, Scrappers, e*Rock, Elizabeth Haidle, Nicole J. Georges, Scrappers, Theo Ellsworth, Dan Gilsdorf, Gabriel Liston, Keegan Wenkman, and I have a couple oldies but pretty alrighties in there too.
You can check out all of the pieces in the show HERE for sale NOW on the nets! You could buy a treasure from the comfort of your own home or office chair and be a big plenty of help to the IPRC:
We also made a ZINE to go along with the show! It features work by Chris Duncan, Thomas Campbell, Mel Kadel, Travis Millard, Thom Lessner, e*Rock, Leif Goldberg, Sammy Harkham, Theo Ellsworth, and me. If you are interested in purchasing a zine, please give us a holler at the IPRC.
Please let all your pals now about this opening tonight because we only get to have the show up for a couple of days and then the Grass Hut is on to their next exciting showcase…. The work will remain available to purchase through the Grass Hut website through August I believe… A few things have already been sold though so don’t take a very long nap.
Big thanks to everybody who contributed their art to this show and for all who support the IPRC by supporting this effort!!!
