HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA
POSTED July 5, 2009 BY Kirk Dianda
For the 4th of July, we met up with our friend Adam, and rode from Costa Mesa, took the ferry across Balboa, went into Newport Beach, and then came back home. With sight-seeing and pit-stops included, it took us a good long 6 hours… Here’s a few photos that Amber and I shot along the way.

Adam, Amber and I started our day off by meeting at our local dive; The Rabbit Hole.

Here’s a rabbit’s view from its hole; an utter dump and horrible way to spend a beautiful day.

We took the scenic route, which runs along an ecological reserve, called Back Bay. This is me, mid-ride rehydration.

Once we arrived to the Balboa / Newport area, we were greeted with the official party vehicle. A two-man scooter, with a cooler!

Knee Braces are the new bikini accessory.

This is almost so cliché that I didn’t want to share, but alas, I did… Adam and an American Flag with “Made In China” sticker.

Ho Foam has be taken to new heights.

One sad sole was left behind.

Adam and Amber carefully showed me how to not use fireworks safely.
