Skateboard graphics

POSTED July 8, 2009 BY Corey Adams

I remember when I was young the skateboard graphic seemed like the most exciting thing in the world. I used to peer through the window of the closed skate shop just admiring the styles. Now a days when i see them they just don’t give me that same feeling. Maybe I’m getting old. Maybe the graphics just aren’t as good. I’m guessing it’s the second one. Any how, I was just in Budapest a few weeks ago and my friend had found this board being carried around by some bum in the park. I think he traded him a smoke for it. Good deal. It’s graphics like these that to this day still get me excited and I feel that tingling feeling I once felt peering through that skate shop window as a child.

Amen! I remember in 3rd grade (1983) a kid in my class had a t-shirt with the similar graphic that read “flirting with the devil.” I think that it’s just graphics like these that give you that feeling no matter what they’re on.
