Devon Green, a breath of fresh air.

December 30, 2009

humor me here while i foam at the mouth about my all time favorite artist… Devon Green.

ive known Devon for what seams like forever and hes always been on his own trip, everything he does he does HIS way. being around Devon is a beautiful thing, every time we kick it i come away with a whole new perspective on life in general. its really hard for me to describe Devon and im only trying so that when you look at his art you understand he is the REAL DEAL. so yeah, Devon just updated his blog… THE LOG RIDES ON FIRE with images of 11 paintings you should really see.

Devon_Painting

but dont stop there, Devons blog is JAM packed with his drawings, paintings, collages and best of all his writings.

…and just for your FYI information, all the paintings are FOR SALE.

call or email Devon if you wanna talk dimensions, prices or even to just shoot the shhhhhhhhhhh-it, you will never regret it… EVER.

Spreekt u Nederlands

December 30, 2009

Dutch Skate/Snow/etc… Reload have just released issue 49.  This issue is Canadian themed, I believe their is a BA.KU. story in there somewhere.

I was fortunate to be asked to illustrate the cover for them.  So I gave it the old college try.

original

This is the original painting.  The cover is pretty much the same but it has the magazines title and all that on it.

December 30, 2009

Really, I sat and attempted time and time again to express how stoked I am at getting this through the mail and what it means to me. Thanks Tobin.

Broadcast Wheels 2010

December 29, 2009

Here is the first look at the new product offering from Broadcast. The 2010 catalog consists of a range of premium American urethane wheels and a small line of basic skate apparel. I must divulge that the wheels are mighty perfect: everyone has been approving them as the best wheels they’ve ever skated. Straight from the horses mouth.

Special thanks to all those who have been involved in the launch of this brand: Jon Dragonette Photography, French, Jarrod Bryan Design, Dustin Desmarais Design, Distrikt Collective, Prestige, SCS, Eric Wall, Geoff Scofield, team riders Paul Shier, Ethan Fowler, Gareth Stehr, Kevin Coakley, Joel Meinholz, Patrick Melcher, Danny Falla, Aaron Harrison, Shiloh Greathouse, Eric Gilbert, Connor Getzlaff, the Boise and San Clemente Crews and anyone else we forgot.

Welcome to the Wild International, Mark Ward Print Release

December 29, 2009

The Wild International shop opened for business a few weeks ago, and I sort of lagged on posting the good news. The debut offering is this print by London artist Mark Ward. Be sure to keep an eye on the blog and store for upcoming releases at http://thewildinternational.com/wordpress/

About the Mark Ward print for The Wild International
“Mark Ward is a killer artist based in London. He’s done more to shape youth culture through his work than most of the people out will realize, and he likes to keep it that way. His work is internationally renowned, respected and well, bad ass. Mark is a great skater, snowboarder, beer drinker and friend. We are all very happy that Mark agreed to make this print for us – actually, his first, and all the better for it.”
