DROP SPOT

Element just released its new line of skate obstacles, called “DROP SPOT”. We shot the commercial series in San diego at the Transworld warehouse.
Kirk Dianda, Ricki Bedenbaugh and Marc Falkenstien directed and shot the commercials together. The stars of the shoot were Chad Tim Tim, Vanessa Torres, Julian Davidson, Lacey Baker and Levi Brown, plus Ryan Dewitt who kept everyone out of trouble.
It was a long day of shooting, but the end result, edited by Kirk Dianda, looks really cool. Check out the commercial here or catch it on FUEL, and below are some behind-the-scenes photos from the day.

i went on this trip down south with the santa cruz team last december and it was a rad one! when i got home i sent out all the photos to my connections at the mags but only 2 of the photos from the trip got used in skateboarder mag so i put together this artical for the strange notes website but it never got ran? well i like all the photos and i thought you all might too?

One Way or Another tour

Just got home from the two week skate trip/art tour – One Way or Another presented by COLOR Magazine. Our last stop was AUSTIN TX where we were hosted by the No Comply skate shop and the ever talented Michael Sieben. The trip was full of driving, camping, skating and some various amounts of drama. There will be a long article in the next issue of COLOR describing in detail the events of the trip. What a great time! Jawa people running all around!

Good book!

I got this book a few years ago and fucking love it! Its been sitting in my book shelf since i read it last but for some reason it caught my eye again the other morning so ive started to reading it on the john now i cant put it down!? If you have never seen any of Peter Beards stuff go out and find it where ever you can? click on the read more below to read the first chapter in the book ( THE DARKNESS THAT MAY BE FELT ) and if that dosnt get you interest you might want to see the doctor?
