While gearing up for the One Way or Another tour I stopped by Geoff’s studio to pick up his work for the shows. While he was getting things ready I poked around his stuff and opened his flat files for a peak around.
Sebo Walker has been picked out of the crowd by Michael Leon and Stacks to be their first AM. They are also releasing the above decks sometime after tomorrow. The turbo series looks great!
Sorry folks, I looked like it was a live video, but it’s a photo. Scion put the video up at flickr for some reason! Either way, this is the first stop motion project I ever did and it’s a collab with Saelee Oh who held my hand through it. I’ve since done another. Imagine this is 6 frames a second and if we had done 10, it would be a ton smoother. Next time, I’ll probably up it to 12 or something like that. Hope you have a sec to check it out. It’s only a minute.
im doing an installation at my favorite bar in miami (called BAR). it will be up for 2 months and the party for it is this monday. we will have some copies of my new newsprint zine to give away at the opening as well as some chicago style hot dogs for the miami people.
