My good friend Justin Visnesky’s wonderful photography is showcased on the Feature Shoot site at the moment. Also I’m in one of the pictures!
How does it feel when some skinhead likes one of your graphics so much that he gets it tattooed on his whole back, but adds a huge “White Power” on top of it for good measure? ’90s vert martyr Mike Frazier knows. He reminisces on Memory Screened.

If you were in the San Francisco area this week you might have seen my good friend Jason Polan out and about there, working on this project. It looks great Jason!

For all the Aussies, check out this exhibition in Sydney tonight!
Ze Frog & Toad is a traveling exhibition by Nicholas Chalmers. With this show Chalmers challenges the conventional gallery space by exhibiting his latest works in the back of a truck modified to be a gallery space. The truck will also be a means of transport and accommodation for the artist and his friends during the time of the exhibition.
So far Nicholas has set up shop in the Melbourne CBD with huge response from locals, and the next stop is Sydney on Friday 10th of September, for one night only.
Follow his entertaining blog posts here, featuring crazy road trip stories, photos and surfing along the way.

Knife & Saw is the home to furniture, frames, and other objects designed and made by Chris Brigham.
Working as a graphic designer for the past 11 years, Chris wanted to pursue a more tangible creative outlet. So he traded in his mouse for a hammer, turned his garage into a wood shop, and built Knife & Saw.
The Bike Shelf is a stand out piece, made from solid wood (in this case, Walnut) and suspended by a solid steel square rod mount. This shelf can hold your bike, as well as anything else you so desire.
Check out his web site to see some of his work here.
Last week Don Pendleton and Mark Penxa came out to Rochester, NY to put on THE WORST IS YET TO COME – The Unfortunate Decay of Communciation and Culture with 1975 Gallery.
The show consisted of 43 new works, largely mixed media on wood. It was awesome to see their experimentation free from the restraints of commercial works, and the crowd was really stoked that Don and Mark decided to put on such a huge undertaking on in Rochester.
The show has already received a great review in Rochester’s CITY paper, and we’re working on a video wrap up of the show for the 1975 site. All of the art is up now in the 1975 online shop. Check it out!

Mark your calendars and make tracks toward Asbury Park, NJ, where M Space will be hosting Wall Ride, an art show about skate graphics, covering everything from artists concept sketches to the finished product and all things in between. It runs for two days only so do what you gotta do and make it happen . Plus, Asbury Park is also home of Silverball, the pinball museum and hall of fame, so hit the coast, throw a little Gaslight Anthem on the old ipod and make a day of it. September 25 & 26. M Space, 513C Bangs Ave, Asbury Park, NJ.

If you happen to be in Long Beach, you have to check out “America“, an exhibition of photos by Ricki Bedenbaugh. It will be up from September 1st through October 1st at the wine bar, Art du Vin, in Long Beach.
