Small feature on One Giant Arm

Looking forward to seeing this tomorrow… swing by Wayward Gallery if you’re in London
”We Sent Them To The Other Side Of The World & Now They’ve Found The Way Back’ copies limited to 100 and available from now SSERPRESS £8 UK / £9 EUROPE / £10 WORLDWIDE.
more than just a zine, this is a beautifully put together book by Jai Tanju and Kingsley Ifill and features many of the Print Exchange photographers and Jai’s personal stash of printed matter brought to him pretty much daily by the mail man.

Jai Tanju’s Film Por Vida Print Exchange show rolls into London next week, having previously shown in New Yorks Fuse Gallery in October last year. Loads of talented photographers involved many of whom are mumble members! The show opens Thursday 16th June (7pm – Midnight) at the Wayward Gallery. I know a lot you cant make it here to ‘good old blighty’ so I shall follow this post with images from the show etc.
Along with an impressive instillation of Jai’s ever growing collection of mail he’s received over the years, there will be 26 framed photographs by
Joe Brook, Tobin Yelland, Sam Milianta, Tim Irwin, Dave Schubert, Dan Boulton, Takeshi Abe, B. Fonville, J. Siegel, Jai Tanju, Ken Nagahara, Weston Colton, Brad Westcot, Greg Hunt, Dennis McGrath, Bryce Kanights, Amanda Lopez, Isaac Randozzi, Mark Whiteley, Dave Franklin, Kingsley Ifill, Phil Jackson, Eric Antoine, Fabrizio Biviano, Espen Stokke and Ed Templeton.

And if that wasn’t enough, stepping things up a gear this time, Kingsley Ifill, the Wayward Gallery and Sserpress books have put out a 66 page Print Exchange book for the London show called ‘We sent them to the other side of the world & now they’ve found the way back’, I’ll put something up on here about where to buy them after the show – if theres any left!

I love that feeling when you just know… Shot this the day before my 37th birthday with my trusted and loved Leica M6.
My aim for this year is to trust my instincts more and shoot my own little way.

Got a rad little package in the post from across the atlantic today. SF-11 photo-zine by the talented mr. Isaac McKay-Randozzi.
The zine is still available through Chicago based Parking Block Publishing. I don’t know whether they go to so much effort with every purchase or if it was because I’m from the UK? but I got bunch of stickers, some pretty rad polaroids (who took them?) and bizarrely a piece of a jigsaw puzzle? Not sure if that was meant to get in my package, so if the guys at Parking Block are scratching their heads wondering where the last piece of their jigsaw got to, let me know and i’ll send it back!
More top images from Isaac’s zine below… now go buy one if you haven’t already.

Really excited and pleased to announce that my interview with the nicest guy ever, Tobin Yelland is up on the HUH Magazine site and I’m pretty sure its gonna make the printed mag towards the end of the month or in February sometime. The printed version gets distributed free in the UK. Kinda like RVCA’s ANP in the States. When the next issue goes out I believe you can get it from the site by paying for just the postage.
Really pleased with the way it looks and to be able to get Tobin some exposure here in the UK.
Really, I sat and attempted time and time again to express how stoked I am at getting this through the mail and what it means to me. Thanks Tobin.
