Special thanks to everyone at Skateboarder Magazine for helping to put this event together, because a good cause combined with skating is always awesome. Proceeds to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Next Thursday, April 22nd, Gareth Stehr and several of our other friends will be participating in Modern Primitives, a group exhibit to benefit Earth Day. A few days after that, Blueprint Skateboards will be hosting the Los Angeles premiere of Make Friends With The Color Blue. You know that Kevin Coakley’s part is going to amaze, and of course Paul Shier has been working hard on making sure this is one of the best videos you’ll ever watch.

This Friday, April 2nd is the opening party for a new art show featuring the work of Gareth Stehr. Behold The Black Light will be somewhat of an antiexhibit backed by the zounds of Green & Wood and others. Regardless of your affinity for stoner doom rock, you’ll want to attend.
Joey Adamczyk is a dude with a nearly impossible-to-pronounce last name that somehow looks completely comfortable doing tricks that are nearly impossible-to-land. Broadcast Yo Self is the moving-picture catalyst by which Broadcast allegorically opens its doors to the public and allows shredders from around the world the chance to be featured on the website. Each month we will sift through our submissions (to submit, simply send us your YouTube or Vimeo link on this page) and we’ll choose one unlucky brute to partake in the awesomeness that will be known throughout cyber eternity as Broadcast YoSelf. It’s certainly not going to make anybody famous, but we want the 2 or 3 people that check our website each month to enjoy some fresh content. Here is the first look at the new product offering from Broadcast. The 2010 catalog consists of a range of premium American urethane wheels and a small line of basic skate apparel. I must divulge that the wheels are mighty perfect: everyone has been approving them as the best wheels they’ve ever skated. Straight from the horses mouth.
