The fine folks at Heel Bruise just released their Spring 2011 lookbook featuring photos by Robbie Jeffers. Check the full offering here…
Telegraph Skateboards assembled this great promo video of my good friend Brian Lotti and the greenhorns skating some never-before seen spots and doing it in a most inspiring manner. You’ll enjoy the Drummer series, too.
I’m 100% sure that I have not progressed in my skating prowess for nearly a decade, despite the fact that I love skateboarding now more than ever. Skate sessions are few and far between, but on the occasion when I can remove myself from the workstation and spend some time rolling around, it’s guaranteed that some mediocre magic will go down. In other words, I don’t let the fact that I suck at skating keep me from doing it.
My bag of tricks is pretty shallow these days (and I like it that way), so I can always reach in and find something hazardous to do on my lunch break. Good thing that Jose Garcia Diaz is a skilled photographer and can make my skating look sweeter than bread pudding with chocolate milk.
Eric Koston, C.R. Stecyk, Bob Burnquist, Patti McGee, Stacey Peralta, Steve Caballero, and Torger Johnson were awarded with permanent spots on the walls of The IASC Skateboarding Hall of Fame. Lance Mountain and Steve Berra conducted the ceremonies, and it was pretty much a perfect evening… until I cut into Eric Kostons cake. Enjoy every bite.
A lot of you (mumblers, friends, and readers) have been asking if we are going to make a filmer/cruiser wheel for Broadcast. The time has finally come to announce the release of the 56mm Messengers, a soft cruiser wheel designed & developed specifically for filming. Hit me up if you need a catalog or want a preview of these dreamy urethanes.

September’s winner of Broadcast Yo Self is Jeremy McNamara. This kid rips. Enjoy or don’t.
