2010 - “The Twenty Worst Songs of the Last Ten Years”
Pop-music has always been a defining characteristic of a decade, and the last ten years have been no exception. Each and every generation has had its embarrassing sounds stamped in time, but never before has such shitty music been so diverse, yet so profitable. So as 2010 rolls around, let’s look back and pay homage to our shameful past.
Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you… “2010: The Twenty Worst Songs of the Last Ten Years”…

KNIFE & SAW
Chris Brigham has never been one to corner himself with one title, and he’s proved that again. From photographer, illustrator, designer, and all around hunk, comes his next conquest; furniture design and manufacturing.

So if you’re looking for anything from custom furniture to frames, or even a closet, yes a closet, give this a gander.
More photos after the jump (including the dream closet).
MAKE IT COUNT, CHAPTER 4 - “EARTH”
MAKE IT COUNT, CHAPTER 4 - “EARTH”
“EARTH” is the fourth chapter of MAKE IT COUNT. The conclusion focuses on Element’s continued growth, reach, success, and diversity and is told through the familiar faces of the first three chapters. More so, Lil’ Jon, Pharrell Williams, and a host of artists and musicians (including Mumble members Amber B, Jeremy Fish, and Todd Francis) chime in to further explain the common thread amongst creative individuals.

MAKE IT COUNT - CHAPTER 3 “FIRE”
MAKE IT COUNT COMMERCIAL - “BOARD”
The original commercial series focused on the symbiotic relationship between a skateboard’s creation and the skater in his environment. We created 6 commercials, that were all similar, but each ended with a different skater and the board that was being created.
Recently, I unearthed the footage for MAKE IT COUNT, and put together a re-edited version to song by musical genius, Loren Humphrey, with inspiration taken from Phillip Glass.
MAKE IT COUNT - CHAPTER 2 “WATER”
MAKE IT COUNT - CHAPTER 2 “WATER”
In creating Chapter 2 of 4, “WATER” I, (Kirk Dianda) interviewed Johnny Schillereff (Element founder & president), Andy Howell (New Deal co-founder & Underworld founder), and a small cast of influential characters. Through their interviews, Underworld’s inception and demise is explained, along with a historical look into a unique era within skateboarding.
MAKE IT COUNT - CHAPTER 1 “WIND”
MAKE IT COUNT is a four-part documentary on Element, covering two decades of stories and imagery.
In creating Chapter 1 of 4, “WIND” I followed Johnny Schillereff (Element founder & president) and dug into his history, interviewing the very people that have shaped his life and the company.
The opening and closing sequences give you a small taste of the diverse community of people interviewed for the entire project, topics covered, and nostalgia that was un-earthed… The next 3 chapters will dive into all things Element, including the short-lived Underworld Element, the historical team and its ups and downs, and the friends and family that have defined Element throughout the years.
Each chapter of MAKE IT COUNT will be release on the 1st of each month:
WIND - August 1st, 2009
WATER - September 1st, 2009
FIRE - October 1st, 2009
EARTH - November 1st, 2009

“MAKE IT COUNT” PHOTO - KRIS MARKOVICH
Yesterday, I got one of the most last-minute interviews of the project, MAKE IT COUNT… While shooting a promo piece for FUEL’s Daily Habit, Johnny (Schillereff) and I ran into Kris Markovich. And through an amazing turn of events, Kris and I were eventually in a back alley shooting an interview with a borrowed camera, tripod, and mic.

The full-length film premieres online August 1st.
VIDEO PART - STEVIE WILLIAMS (1994)
For MAKE IT COUNT, I caught up with Stevie Williams to discuss all things Element, including the short-lived Underworld Element, meeting Johnny Schillereff & Andy Howell, LOVE Park’s early days, and skateboarding today. In doing so, Stevie explained how he first got on Element at a mere 12-years old.
Here’s Stevie’s debut video part in the 1994 video; Fine Artists, along with an introductory interview clip…
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA
For the 4th of July, we met up with our friend Adam, and rode from Costa Mesa, took the ferry across Balboa, went into Newport Beach, and then came back home. With sight-seeing and pit-stops included, it took us a good long 6 hours… Here’s a few photos that Amber and I shot along the way.
