My newest zine of some of my favorite things–Booze, Dudes & Bears, published by The Secret Headquarters in Silverlake, is now available online and at the store for $5 buckaroos.  The zine features 20  of some of my favorite drawings, all of which for some reason, involve booze, dudes & bears.  No false advertising here.  Hey, maybe they’re some of your favorite things as well.  Anyhow thanks for the support.

HIGHLAND PARK, LOS ANGELES: There’s a huge upcoming group show THESE FRIENDS 3 coming Friday, February 24th at THISLOSANGELES gallery in Highland Park.  Too many talented artists to name, so make sure to take a peek and drop by.  They’ll also be giving away some tote bags that I designed to the first 100 folks who arrive.

NEW YORK, NY: I’ll be participating in an upcoming group show, Rabid, Wild & Docile, which opens at myplasticheart  NYC February 24th, from 6-9pm.   The show features various bear-inspired works from artists such as Luke Chueh, EVOKER, Tim Sullivan, Flying Fortress, and many more!

I’m super excited to announce Booze, Dudes and Bears, a new zine of drawings, to be published with the help of the awesome folks at The Secret Headquarters. We’re going to debut it for the LA Zine Fest Feb. 19th alongside Nick Thorburn’s new zine What A Gas.

I’ll be participating in my first group show of 2012!  At the First Annual Supersonic Electronic Invitational at Spoke Art in San Francisco. The show features a great line up and opens Thursday, January 5th.

This Saturday, December 3rd  at Bitchcraft Trading Post’s Winter Sale  in Atwater, Los Angeles, CA, Pearl and I aka (Fight To The Death) will be releasing two of our newest collaborations. Our newest print in the Drug Monster series is Mt. Lushmore.  This collaborative print was made from a collaborative drawing and design by Pearl and I.  It’s a - 1 color silk screen on custom sprayed backgrounds, numbered and signed out of an edition of 40.

Also available at Bitchcraft will be Pearl and mine’s first collaborative zine, Fight to the Death, Issue #1, 36 pages of sketchbook drawings, 2 color silk screen cover, edition of 50.

FIGHT TO THE DEATH ISSUE #1 ZINE

Fight To the Death Issue #1 is my sister, Pearl C. Hsiung, and I’s first collaborative zine. It’s filled with drawings from our sketch books, and it’s our first zine as well.  Fight to the Death is a name for our collaboration and was derived from a phrase my dad used to say while we were fighting as children. We’re here to prove him right or wrong.  Maybe it’ll be our last collaboration!  It’ll be available  this Saturday, December 3rd at Bitchcraft Trading Post Winter Sale!!   (3010 N Coolidge Street Atwater, Los Angeles,CA)
