S.S.A. Spring/Summer 2010
Stereo’s new catalog is up on their site for your perusal. Many nice looking useless wooden toys, the Matt Rodriguez and Carl Shipman decks look extra snazzy.

…oh, and here are the tees & softgoods from the new Broadcast catalog. Let me know if any of y’all want to order some. ClubMumble members get a promocode on the new webstore… that isn’t finished quite yet. Dweebs and creeps can follow the broadcast twitter thing here: http://twitter.com/BroadcastSkate
Here is the first look at the new product offering from Broadcast. The 2010 catalog consists of a range of premium American urethane wheels and a small line of basic skate apparel. I must divulge that the wheels are mighty perfect: everyone has been approving them as the best wheels they’ve ever skated. Straight from the horses mouth.
Special thanks to all those who have been involved in the launch of this brand: Jon Dragonette Photography, French, Jarrod Bryan Design, Dustin Desmarais Design, Distrikt Collective, Prestige, SCS, Eric Wall, Geoff Scofield, team riders Paul Shier, Ethan Fowler, Gareth Stehr, Kevin Coakley, Joel Meinholz, Patrick Melcher, Danny Falla, Aaron Harrison, Shiloh Greathouse, Eric Gilbert, Connor Getzlaff, the Boise and San Clemente Crews and anyone else we forgot.

For a little while now I’ve been riding for *Brett Margaritis’s board project known as The Four Skateboard Company… Jonno King and Ben Mclachlan have just finished up work on their super slick/sick website. I have included an epic still of Alex Campbell from the pages, and you can peak the rest online over at the4skateboardcompany.com. Make sure you check out the latest series of boards here. I might be a bit biased but to me it seems that 4 is one of the few board companies doing things proper down this way.
*Brett was pro for Think and is also from Modus Bearing fame.

Distrikt and friends have finally finished up our first visual source book, and I thought that fellow Club Mumblers might appreciate it. 244 pages of random visuals, discarded graphic projects, and secrets to the inner workings of corporate America’s darkest organizations. “The international design collective Distrikt is proud to announce the publishers’ release of their very first design book, titled This Is Textbook. This rather paradoxical anthology of creative eye candy is intended to be a referential portfolio of assorted work from friends and family of Distrikt Collective. Like a pair of mismatched socks, This Is Textbook exhibits photographs by Alison Grippo alongside anti-consumerist paintings from outsider artist Kelly D. Williams. Contributors to this collection also include Larry Mayorga, Damion Silver, The Midwest Visual Agency, Ryan Stephens, Kimberlee Whaley, and others. Showcasing a broad range of photography, art, and design, this book will be a sought-after sourcebook for anyone in the creative world. You can order your copy right here.“
A new 24 page zine I just made with my good friend Jonny Costello for The Homework Show tomorrow in San Diego (its from 7-11 if you feel like a zine swap). We only made 20 for the show, but will probably be making a limited run of 100 which is going to take a long time and a lot of scalpel blades. I’m not going to be at the show, but we’ll be remotely swapping through fellow mumbler Stef Walker, who’s organising the show.
The first time we’ve done anything like this and a lot of fun, there will be more.
