While gearing up for the One Way or Another tour I stopped by Geoff’s studio to pick up his work for the shows. While he was getting things ready I poked around his stuff and opened his flat files for a peak around.

Don Pendleton has long been a favorite of mine, from his board graphics to his personal art. When I heard he was painting a mural at the Juice offices I made time and spent a couple days watching him paint. Full feature with video over at COLOR Magazine.

Just got home from the two week skate trip/art tour - One Way or Another presented by COLOR Magazine. Our last stop was AUSTIN TX where we were hosted by the No Comply skate shop and the ever talented Michael Sieben. The trip was full of driving, camping, skating and some various amounts of drama. There will be a long article in the next issue of COLOR describing in detail the events of the trip. What a great time! Jawa people running all around!
Big thanks to the folks at Vans and Volcom for their support!
This issue we were blessed to have Cody Hudson contribute typography. I’ve always been a great fan of the work he does. Check out this VIDEO and colormagazine.ca for more info.
The issue releases this friday in Vancouver, next tuesday in Toronto, wednesday in Montreal and should be all around on newsstands by the end of the week.
Last month I paid a VISIT to the Deluxe warehouse to peek around Tommy Guererro’s office. He was kind enough to pull out piles of correspondence from Mark Gonzales, Thomas Campbell and unused album art from Natas. Recently, on May 5th, Equal Distribution released a new shirt by Mr. G., only 50 were made so if you dig it, get it now - HERE.
