Elemental Awareness hit the road to visit their friends on the Apache, Flathead, and Navajo reservations, where they were able to skate with the kids, and connect on a larger level…

Through the CHANGING LIVES THROUGH SKATEBOARDING program, they were able to give away more than 100 pairs of shoes, 50 skateboards and tons of other product. Needless to say, the kids were hyped and received some much needed gear.

Lakai and Stance socks have teamed up to produce a new twist on a Lakai classic – the performance Manchester sock.  With slightly sticky rubber pads on the heal and toe area they reduce foot slippage and make even old shoes skate better. In shops on august 1st.

Element recently launched its new line of clothes; the Element Emerald Collection, a consciously crafted mens lifestyle product line.

With a commitment to eco sustainability in the production of the garments, the line is the brainchild of Element Founder and President, Johnny Schillereff, while the clothing is designed by Valerie Killeen, and footwear by Charlie Manos, with art direction by Bobby Sattler, featuring photography by the amazing Brian Gaberman, and artwork by Thomas Campbell.

For the official launch of the collection, we all flew out to New York, and took over Saturdays surf store for a private presentation of the line, a fashion show, followed up by a party that was open to the public. If you made it by, then you’re walking on sunshine, because anyone who showed up was given a complimentary pair of Emerald shoes.

When it was all said and done, we came home, totally inspired by the entire experience.

Recently spent a week in Boston for an art show and some skating with the Orchard shop crew. Bloggage and videos over at COLOR. Big thanks to Don and Mark for sharing their new work and all the sponsors for making it happen.

This Saturday at the Orchard shop in Boston/Allston. Some how I’ll be showing some new prints alongside the collaborations of Mr. Penxa and Mr. Pendlton. For the release of the shoe, Stefan asked us if he could produce a video in which he created the music, the animations, and the overall concept. We have always known Stefan to be a creative guy, but what he came back is really amazing—a four minute glimpse into his wonderful mind complete with new skate footage.

When I got kicked off Vans’ flow team some 20 aught years ago, I vowed one day to return. That day has finally arrived…

San Francisco is stoked! Macho Taildrop is playing tonight at the classic Roxie Theater in the Mission district of the city. I did a little e-mail interview with one of the directors, Corey Adams for Fecal Face about the current state of the film’s distribution and when DVDs will be made and the new eS’ Manwolfe shoe.

Brandon Westgate’s newest part just went up today. Holy pop! Another great job done by Jon Miner. The shoe is pretty good too.
